Location:
Community Presbyterian Church
City: Forsyth
Contact Number: 417 739-4100 Date: Mar 8 12
The Lake Taneycomo Watershed Management Plans are progressing well. At the third meeting, citizens heard from Jim Sandberg of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, where they learned how the Corps manages the area lakes. The fourth meeting will be a summary of the past discussion and solutions for the Lake Taneycomo watershed issues. Tammy Trantham of TRLWQ will be presenting updates on the status of the report. Finally, at this meeting, citizens will be discussing priority areas of the watershed to recommend for projects in the plan. There will be two meetings, March 6 at the Branson Rec-Plex from 5:30-7:30 p.m. and March 8 at the Community Presbyterian Church in Forsyth from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Please RSVP if you are attending via TRLWQ website, www.trlwq.org, or call Tammy at 417-739-4100. A light dinner will be provided for all who RSVP. Contact Tammy Trantham with any questions, 417-739-4100 or tammyyelden@trlwq.org.
The Environmental Protection Agency Region 7 through the Missouri Department of Natural Resources has provided partial funding for this project under Section 319 of the Clean Water Act.
